In January 2017, digital marketplace G2A announced it would bring a group of Polish VR developers — including Carbon Studio, Anshar Studio and Immersion — to the Taipei Game Show, showcasing their titles in its G2A Land virtual reality zone.
The Taipei Game Show appearance was part of G2A's push into VR distribution and development support at a time when the platform was expanding beyond game keys into VR content. Carbon Studio would later become known for the Warhammer: Age of Sigmar VR title and The Wizards series, while Anshar Studio contributed to major titles including Observer and Gamedec.
For the VR industry, showcases like this marked the moment VR moved from tech demos to a real commercial category on the trade-show floor — a shift that also opened the door for the consumer VR content platforms we cover today.
